Off we go today to take pictures of our "town" so that Lucy's foster parents will have an idea as to where this little girl is going to live! Not too sure what we are going to photograph, but I suppose we'll know it when we see it!
Spent last night arranging Lucy's room, and assembling items for the care package we are going to send to Lucy and her foster parents. In the package we are including:
- Baby photo album with pics of immediate family
- Little blanket with a bunny's head (sounds rather odd when I type that!)
- 2 disposable cameras for foster parents to hopefully take pictures for Lucy, so that someday she will see with who and where she lived
- Pistachios (heard through the grapevine that these are a hot item)
- A few Elvis postcards and keychains
- A letter to the foster parents, as well as a letter to the orphanage director
- I will probably send some American Ginseng (another hot item, apparently) for the orphanage director as well, and maybe some hard candy or cookies.
