Greetings!
I am amazed and flattered that you all actually read this blog! I was in New Orleans for the past week at the National Art Education Association Convention, and when I got back, I had a number of messages from friends wondering what was going on with the adoption, since there was no BLOG update. Thank you!
Well, the update is that there is no update yet. Still waiting on the letter of acceptance (LOA), and our travel dates. In the meantime, Pauline and Mom have finished the hot pads for gifts, and Pauline is starting on the dress she is smocking for Lucy to come home in. After a week of art education seminars, I can finally concentrate on finishing up my letter to the orphanage director, and another letter to the foster family that will go in the care package that I am sending. Apparently, there is a lovely gentleman that works with my Dad that has agreed to translate these letters for me. I am supposed to get that to him by Thursday. I am still working on photos for the album for the foster family, and putting them in order.
Say a little prayer for Lucy!

Jimmy and I are so excited about your sweet baby girl. She is already so blessed to be coming to such a wonderful family! We will continue to pray for her and for you as you wait for your travel dates! Keep us posted.
