Leaping Over Hurdles

Our appointment with our SW (I really need to give her a name....SW sound so impersonal) was at 3:00 this afternoon, and we spent the better part of 2 hours signing papers, and talking about fees (while inwardly freaking out), and discussing what our travel will entail. She also informed us that little girls from this province are known to be "feisty". I suppose that is where "naughty poppet" comes from! It is wonderful to know that we are now on the way to meeting little Lucia!

The boys are thrilled. Louis keeps asking if we are going to China tomorrow - he is really miffed that he has to wait to see her. I cued in Nolan's teacher to our meeting this afternoon, and when she mentioned Lucia to Nolan, she said, "He just lit up like a Christmas tree!".

Ed's Mom and Dad are having a mass said for Lucia at their church at 8:15, Friday morning. My Mom can't wait to start shopping for little grandbaby girl stuff! Actually, neither can I!

Please say a little prayer that Lucia is healthy. She is one tough little customer, that has had quite a trial in her life to date.
