We have a new little Cychowski as of 4:30 today! She is just precious and full of herself. Full of smiles and mischief (after a few hours). I know she is probably in shock, and we will ahve a different kid on our hands in the next few days, but she is just delightful. Shi Shi is a daddy's girl and will not let him out of her sight.
We gave her a bath this afternoon when we got home, and she was so relieved to be clean that she stretched out on the bed and sighed. She was one dirty kid!
The bumps on her head and face are from heat rash that became infected - at least that is what the orphanage staff told us. She is on medication, and hopefully with a few baths, some meds and some AC, she will clear up pretty soon. Our guide told us that this is very common.

We are all so happy to finally see pictures of Lucy....with you! I must have checked your blog 75 times yesterday to see if there were any updates yet. She is beautiful and looks so happy! She can sense that she has ended up with a wonderful family.
