Greetings!
As you have probably guessed by the photos, we had a wonderful time out last night with Grandmom and Pappa at Benihana's. Tremendously entertaining for all. We were celebrating Louis's 8th birthday in grand style! ....and Lucy is wearing big girl pants!
This is momentous, as the medical professionals have pretty much suggested that we wait until at least August (a year from surgery) to even think about the potty training thing. But as we are growing to expect from our little girl, she does things her own way and on her own schedule. So a few weeks ago, Lucy informed us that she did not like the princess design on her pull-ups, and would much rather wear her big girl panties because they were prettier. There you go. Potty training was immediately in full swing....Hirschsprung's and all!
Well, this is a really good thing, the big girl pants and all, because Lucy is embarking on some big girl activities this week! She will be starting children's choir today at church (I get to go too!), and on Tuesday, she starts ballet class with Miss Charissa. She is SO SO SO excited! All of this and add in KinderMusik on Mondays! I must say, it is just wonderful to see Lucy BLOOM. Finally she can concentrate on something besides feeling lousey.
Looks like we (the Cychowski family) are ALL going to have to put on our big girl pants just to keep up with her!
